This policy explains what GHOST collects, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices you have when you use our website, mobile app, and related services.
GHOST is operated by PARALLEL COMMUNICATIONS LLC, based in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. We use only the information needed to run GHOST, never sell personal information, and never use message content or saved contacts for targeted advertising. Privacy requests: theghostapp@proton.me.
This Privacy Policy applies to GHOST's website, mobile applications, communications features, AI tools, support channels, and any other service that links to this policy (together, the “Services”). It does not cover a third-party service you choose to visit or use under that service's own privacy policy.
Features may ask for access to contacts, notifications, photos, microphone, or similar device capabilities. Access is optional and controlled through your device settings. GHOST only accesses a permission after you grant it and uses it for the feature described when permission is requested.
We use personal information to provide and maintain the Services; create and secure accounts; route calls and messages; generate reminders, summaries, and suggested replies; personalize features you request; process subscriptions; respond to support; detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with law; and improve performance and reliability. Where practical, product analysis uses aggregated or de-identified information.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the content of your messages, saved contacts, or relationship notes to serve targeted advertising.
GHOST uses artificial intelligence to produce summaries, reminders, suggested language, and other assistance. Information you submit for an AI feature may be sent to service providers that process it on our behalf. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, so you should review it before relying on or sending it.
Authorized personnel may access limited content when reasonably necessary to resolve a support request, investigate abuse or a security incident, comply with law, or maintain the Services. Access is limited to people who need it for those purposes.
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations. Retention depends on the type of information, why it was collected, and applicable law.
If you delete information or close your account, we will delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period unless we must retain it for one of the purposes above. Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups are rotated.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a denied request. You may also update account information in the app, turn device permissions off in system settings, or unsubscribe from optional marketing emails.
To make a privacy request, email theghostapp@proton.me. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where local law allows, but we may require proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. Protect your password, use the app lock where available, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
GHOST is intended only for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to GHOST, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction. Residents of certain U.S. states and people in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions may have additional rights under local law. GHOST will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.
If information is processed outside your country, it may be subject to different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
We may update this policy as the Services change or as required by law. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required.
Questions, concerns, and privacy requests can be sent to theghostapp@proton.me.
